Appalachian Festival - Saturday Sep 20th

Just a reminder that we will not be at the Romney Farmers Market this coming Saturday.  We will be at the Appalachian Festival in Frostburg MD.  Its held right in the center of the Frostburg University campus.   The link to the event is here http://www.frostburg.edu/events/afestival/

There is live music all day long and lots of interesting displays and demonstrations.  We are still picking blackberries and red raspberries at the farm.  We also have sweet red peppers and hot peppers.  Just a few more weeks to go in the market season.  Evening lows about 50 degrees this week. See you soon.

Hampshire Heritage Days - Final Details

We were in Romney today and things were shaping up for Heritage Days. Just a reminder that we will be in our normal Romney Farmers Market location on Main Street tomorrow. The hours will be extended tomorrow until 3 PM. The rain plan is now to move inside the Bank of Romney Community Center Building. We were just told that today. The prior rain plan to move to Romney Elementary School has now been changed. At 4 PM, the Hampshire Farm Tour will begin. We'll be back at the farm to meet and greet visitors to the farm.
