Appalachian Festival - Saturday Sep 20th

Hi everyone,
Just a reminder that we will not be at the Romney Farmers Market this coming Saturday.  We will be at the Appalachian Festival in Frostburg MD.  Its held right in the center of the Frostburg University campus.   The link to the event is here http://www.frostburg.edu/events/afestival/
There is live music all day long and lots of interesting displays and demonstrations.  We are still picking blackberries and red raspberries at the farm.  We also have sweet red peppers and hot peppers.  Just a few more weeks to go in the market season.  Evening lows about 50 degrees this week. See you soon.

We just had the pleasure of driving through beautiful West Virginia over the past two days as we headed first to Memphis and then onto Austin, TX.

I have to say, and I've been on dozens of roadtrips, WV was one of the most beautiful places in the US.

Changing leaves and giant rolling mountain hills while you head out of the frigid northern Autumn probably didn't hurt.
